Description
The black arowana (Osteoglossum ferreirai) is a South American freshwater bony fish of the family Osteoglossidae. Black arowanas are sometimes kept in aquariums, but they are predatory and require a very large tank.
The temperature recommended for Black Arowanas is between 75 – 80 degrees Fahrenheit or 24 – 27 degrees Celcius. Those seemingly high temperatures can easily be achieved and maintained by using a water heater.
The water level between 6.7- 7.5ph and checked regularly so they do not fluctuate.
