Nematobrycon palmeri, commonly known as the emperor tetra, is a species of characid fish found in the Atrato and San Juan river basins in western Colombia.
✦a clean, well-filtered tank with a temperature range of 75-82°F (24-28°C) and a pH level of 6.5-7.5.
✦ hiding spots with plants and decorations, along with a soft substrate.
✦ Offer a balanced diet of high-quality flakes, pellets, and frozen/live foods.
✦Regular water changes and monitoring of water parameters are crucial.
✦Keep them in groups of at least six to encourage natural behavior.
