Description
The Yellow Ram, also known as the Golden Ram or Mikrogeophagus ramirezi, is a small and peaceful freshwater fish species native to South America. They are known for their bright and vibrant yellow coloration, which becomes more pronounced during breeding season. Yellow Rams are popular among aquarists due to their peaceful temperament and easy-going nature, making them a great addition to a community aquarium. They require a well-planted aquarium with a temperature range of 78-84°F and a pH between 5.0-7.0. These omnivorous fish should be fed a varied diet of flake, pellet, and frozen foods.
