L240 Leporacanthicus of Galaxias, also known as the Galaxy Pleco, is a species of catfish native to the Amazon River basin in South America. They have a unique appearance with a black body and white speckles all over, resembling a starry sky.

These catfish require a pH level between 6.0-7.5 and a temperature range of 76-84°F (24-29°C) in their aquarium. They are omnivorous and require a balanced diet of both plant and meat-based foods. L240 Galaxy Plecos are known for their active and territorial behavior, so they require ample hiding spaces and a large aquarium. They can also be aggressive towards other bottom-dwelling fish.
