MarinePure Bio Filter Media Plate is designed with thin bio film and utilises open pores system to ensure consistent water flow through the media. The constant water flow continually flushes away the old dead bio film, and create the perfect environment for the growth of beneficial bacteria that in turn removes ammonia and nitrites from aquarium water.

This thin film allows bacteria to flourish because necessary nutrients are immediately available.
With the open pores, old dead bio-film is easily flushed from the media and will not plug the media.

Directions for Use:
