Description
The Discus will thrive in a heavily planted aquarium with driftwood and/or rock formations and gentle water flow.
Red Turquoise Discus require a spacious tank of at least 55 gallons. Maintain the water temperature between 82-86°F (28-30°C) with a pH level of 6.0-7.0. Provide them with a well-planted tank and soft, slightly acidic water. Feed them a varied diet of high-quality flakes, pellets, and frozen or live foods. Regular water changes and careful monitoring of water parameters are essential for their well-being. Avoid keeping them with aggressive or overly active tank mates to minimize stress.
