African yellow-tail tiger fish (Hydrocynus vittatus)

Water condition: Freshwater, PH 6.0 - 7.5

Tank mates: Impossible with other fish because of their predatory nature and fierce hunting habits. They eat almost any fish that fits in their mouths, or even bite and wound larger fish that don't fit. So the only compatible "tank mates" are other, much larger, and similarly aggressive fish or potentially Clown Loaches in a very large tank, but it is best to keep them alone or with other individuals of their own species.
