- *Decorations*: Rocks, bogwood, and other hardscape features to provide hiding spots, visual barriers, and create a natural environment. Securely place these decorations to prevent accidental shifting.

- *Filtration*: Efficient filtration system capable of processing the tank's total volume at least 5 times per hour, maintaining pristine water quality.

*Water Parameters*

- *Temperature*: 26-32°C (79-89°F), replicating their native Amazon Basin habitat.

- *pH*: Slightly acidic to neutral pH, reflecting their natural environment.

- *Water Hardness*: Moderate hardness levels, with regular water changes to maintain optimal water quality.

*Tankmates and Social Structure*

- *Grouping*: Keep Altifrons in groups of 5 or more to promote social interaction and reduce aggression.

- *Tankmates*: Choose peaceful, similarly-sized fish that won't compete for food or harass the Altifrons. Avoid small fish that may be seen as prey.

- *Social Dynamics*: Monitor social interactions within the group, as Altifrons can exhibit territorial behavior and occasional aggression.
