Flavescent Peacock Cichlid (Aulonocara Stuartgranti Usisya)

Aulonocara stuartgranti “Usisya” is one of Lake Malawi’s most stunning peacock cichlids, admired for its brilliant coloration, calm temperament, and striking appearance. Males feature an electric blue body with golden-yellow accents on the fins and face, while females display softer beige and light blue tones, creating a beautiful visual contrast that enhances any aquarium.

Usisya is known for being relatively peaceful compared to other Malawi cichlids, making it ideal for community tanks with similarly sized, non-aggressive species. Males may display territorial behavior during breeding, but overall, this species is calm, curious, and interactive, often swimming gracefully through open areas while exploring the tank.
