Super VC-10 Cichlid (Placidochromis Milomo)

The Placidochromis Milomo, also known as the Super VC-10 Cichlid, is a striking haplochromine species from the rocky and sandy zones of Lake Malawi. Renowned for its thick lips and bold metallic coloration, males display a deep blue to purple sheen that intensifies with maturity, while females remain silver-gray and elegant.

This species is relatively peaceful for its size, making it a great addition to larger community tanks with other mild to moderately aggressive Malawi cichlids. The Milomo thrives in aquariums that mimic its natural habitat — a mix of rocky shelters and open swimming spaces.
