Ranchu goldfish are known for their distinctive appearance with a rounded, egg-shaped body, a headgrowth called a wen, and a lack of a dorsal fin. The Red White Ranchu, as the name suggests, exhibits beautiful red and white coloration, making it a visually striking and elegant addition to any goldfish aquarium.
Appearance:
- Size: Red White Ranchu can grow up to 10 centimeters (4 inches) or even larger, depending on their environment and care.
- Body Shape: Ranchu goldfish have a short, deep, and rounded body with a pronounced arch in the back.
- Coloration: The Red White Ranchu features a stunning combination of bright red and white colors. The red coloration is usually dominant on the body, while the head and fins can have a mix of red and white patches.
Water Conditions:
- Temperature: Maintain a stable water temperature between 65°F and 75°F (18°C to 24°C) for the well-being of Red White Ranchu.
- pH Level: Aim for a slightly alkaline to neutral pH level between 7.0 and 8.0 to replicate their optimal living conditions.
