Reborn calcium reactor media is harvested from a sustainable source in the Western Pacific Ocean. Two Little Fishies pre-rinses their media in RODI water, as well as manually removing any snail or clam shells before packaging. Reborn is one of the only calcium reactor medias that still uses legally sourced coral bones and is our preferred choice for a low cost calcium reactor media that will not clog like many others in a calcium reactor.
