Perfect Filter for Baby Shrimps, Betta, Discus, Small Fishes and Shrimps.

This Sponge Filter provides mechanical and biological filtration for your aquarium. As a mechanical filter, it works together with the air-driven system to create suction that allows the sponge to capture floating particles in the water and return filtered water to the tank. As a biological filtration, harmful wastes (e.g. Ammonia and Nitrite) are biologically broken down into relatively harmless by-products (Nitrate) by aerobic bacteria that colonizes the sponge.
