Tank mates: This is a peaceful, community fish. Suitable tank mates include other small, non-aggressive fish like Corydoras catfish, tetras, dwarf cichlids and larger fish like gouramis and clown loaches. Avoid housing them with fish small enough to be eaten or aggressive fish that could be injured by the catfish's spines. Advised to keep them in groups of at least five, as this helps reduce stress and promotes natural behaviours.
