Appearance

Habitat

• Natural Habitat: Found in clear, slow-moving streams with sandy or muddy substrates.
• Aquarium Setup: A well-planted tank with plenty of hiding places, such as driftwood and rocks. A soft, sandy substrate is ideal to prevent damage to their delicate barbels.

Diet

• Temperament: Peaceful and social, best kept in groups of at least 6 to 8 individuals.
• Tank Mates: Compatible with other peaceful community fish. Avoid keeping them with large or aggressive species.

Breeding

Breeding Panda Corydoras is relatively straightforward. They typically spawn in groups, with females laying eggs on flat surfaces such as plant leaves, aquarium glass, or decorations. A separate breeding tank with soft, slightly acidic water can increase the chances of successful breeding. After spawning, parents should be removed to prevent them from eating the eggs.
