Clown Afra Cichlid (Cynotilapia Zebroides Jalo Reef)

Cynotilapia zebroides “Jalo Reef” is a dazzling mbuna cichlid native to the rocky reefs of Lake Malawi. Males display a striking metallic blue body with vivid vertical bars and a glowing yellow or orange dorsal fin, creating a brilliant contrast that stands out beautifully in any aquarium.

Energetic and full of personality, this mbuna species thrives in rocky aquascapes with plenty of caves and hiding spots. The Jalo Reef Cichlid is moderately territorial, especially during breeding, but can coexist well with other Malawi cichlids of similar temperament when provided enough space and structure.
