Seachem Flourish Trace 

Seachem Flourish Trace contains trace elements that help aquatic plants to stay healthy, develop strong and firm stems, grow defined roots and produce vibrant leaves.

All plants require trace elements to grow well. A shortage of trace elements leads to flimsy stems, dull leaves, stunned roots.

Poor aquarium water conditions can further cause trace elements to deplete quickly through oxidation and precipitation.

Therefore, by supplementing with Seachem Flourish Trace regularly, aquatic plants will grow healthily and stay vibrant in planted tanks.

Importance of Trace Elements

Plants lacking in trace elements will show the following symptoms:

• Boron deficiency: Death of stem and root apical meristem, leaves twisted, young tissue most affected
• Cobalt deficiency: used for nitrogen fixation, same as nitrogen deficiency signs (stunted growth)
• Copper deficiency: Young leaves dark green, twisted, wilted, tip remains alive
• Manganese deficiency: Chlorosis of young leaves, with smallest veins remaining green, necrosis between veins
• Molybdenum deficiency: Chlorosis, twisting, death of young leaves
• Zinc deficiency: Reduced leaf size, shortened internodes, chlorosis, spotted leaves, older leaves most affected
• Nickel deficiency: lack of germination or seed formation, required for iron absorption

How to Use

Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 80 L (20 US gallons) twice a week. When using in conjunction with Flourish, dose on alternate days.

For a thriving planted tank, we recommend starting with Flourish and/or Flourish Tabs which provide a broad range of micro-nutrients (vitamins, amino acids) and micro and trace elements (iron, manganese, nickel, cobalt, etc) that will enhance plant health and growth.

If the growth rate is substantial, the trace elements are often utilized more rapidly, and it is beneficial to introduce Flourish Trace along with Flourish and/or Flourish Tabs.
