Stiphodon Semoni Goby

Stiphodon semoni is a small and elegant freshwater goby well known among aquascape enthusiasts for its vibrant yet refined coloration. Males often display bright blue, turquoise, or green tones with subtle contrasting markings, while females have softer, more natural colors.

This species is peaceful and active, making it an excellent choice for community tanks and planted aquariums. Stiphodon semoni spends most of its time grazing on algae and biofilm that grow on rocks and hard surfaces, helping to maintain a clean and balanced aquarium.

It prefers clean, well-oxygenated water with gentle to moderate flow, similar to clear streams in its natural habitat. With stable water conditions and plenty of smooth rocks, Stiphodon semoni adds color, movement, and a natural river atmosphere to freshwater aquariums.
