Description
Activated Carbon Pellets absorb colour taint often caused by the tannins in bogwood, toxins and heavy metals found in some water sources and help to reduce "river" type smell that can build up in a mature aquarium. A suitably sized filter media bag is included for ease of use.
How to use :
Rinse well in tap water, place in filter media bag provided, and add to a filter compartment.
Replace after 6-8 weeks or as water clarity degrades.
Remove when treating the aquarium with any medication.
Can be used to remove excess medication at the end of a treatment or in the event of an overdose.
